Making a hard decision can be a very stressful experience that many people struggle with. Many times, I have wished that someone else would make the decision for me - but of course this did not and could not happen. I had to face my fears, trust myself and make the decision!

HERE ARE MY TOP 3 TIPS TO MAKE A HARD DECISION:

1 - Connect to Future Goal

To make a hard decision, it is important to connect it to your future goals, because the things you plan for and do today will impact how you will achieve your goals for your future.

2 - Evaluate Nice versus Kind

Being nice is often celebrated, but being nice may not always be the kind thing to do. Being KIND is about making a rational choice that is inline with your own values, boundaries and goals. Being nice can be about fears to meet social expectations of wanting to be liked and other short term benefits to deal with our worries.

3 - Trust Yourself

Many times it is hard to make a decision, because it is hard to trust yourself to fix it if you make a mistake. Learning to trust yourself that you will be okay if you make a mistake can be a challenging process. But remember - you have done hard things before and you can do hard things again. And if you do make a mistake, you can figure it out - you are resourceful!
